So i’m 14 and a lot of my friends started planning their xv’s at least 11 months prior to the date and my xv is in 10 months and i am supposed to have at least an idea of what i want to have. So while looking for themes i stumbled upon this website and i like this Old Hollywood theme and the Miami Nights theme and it all looks amazing. I was speaking to my friend who’s helping me in the meantime and since i want to wear a red dress she said that this theme is pretty cool for my choice in dress and i agree. We want to do red, gold, black, and white but we’re not sure exactly which decorations to use. We want to put a red carpet, and velvet ropes but on the tables, should we put like trophies to symbolize an Oscar or something? Please help. Thank you!

Absolutely! I even googled it to make sure. There are companies that will come perform these types of dances at Old Hollywood themed parties! So I say go with it!! Sarah

Hi Melanie, what do you think about using gold with your peach pink color? I like gold for an Old Hollywood theme, and also I think gold looks great with a peachy pink. I also think you could add black into the mix– pink, gold, black. For a very soft look you could do pink, mint and gold. Another idea is to do an all white Hollywood party. That way, your pink dress will really stand out. Finally, how about pink, white and gold? What do you think?
